Our Secure Design & Development Features
A very small line comprised of text or images printed at such a high resolution that it cannot be duplicated by standard printers. Such text can be small enough that the unaided human eye cannot discern the difference between it and a normal line or image.
Security design techniques that are difficult to reproduce. Used to best effect when printed using an appropriate combination of security inks.
An intentional printing mistake or error known only to the printer.
A security design feature that reveals a hidden message when reproduced on most photocopiers. Recommended as a complimentary feature, not in isolation.
Our Anti-Counterfeiting Solutions
A generic name for a variety of covert materials not naturally found in the ink, printing substrate, or other carrier. Taggants can only be detected by specialised equipment that emits electromagnetic energy and analyses its effects on the item in question to determine if such materials are present or not.
A sequential number printed in ink that can only be viewed using an ultraviolet light.
A security printing technique used to blend multiple security ink colours to create a multicolour rainbow effect within a security background design. This is extremely difficult for fraudsters to reproduce.
Security inks have elements or features which when printed, either react to the altering or tampering, have anti-photocopying properties, or can confirm authenticity with or without the use of a device.
Holographic images are created through the use of a physical structure that diffracts light, where ‘hologram’ can reference either the structure or the image itself, and can be viewed by either an illuminated print or aiming a laser through the structure to view the image on a screen.
An invisible ink that promotes toner adhesion to a document to prevent fraudsters from scraping off the original toner to reinstate the details with their own information. This APV ink not only makes this more difficult but also highlights any attempts.

Secure Printing and Finishing
Our Secure Printing & Finishing Features
Unique substrates which have security features, elements, or treatments applied or added to them, including watermarks, either machine-made or artificial, chemical sensitivity, embedded threads, visible or invisible fibres, particles, planchettes, and frangibility.
A security design feature that reveals a hidden message when reproduced on most photocopiers. Recommended as a complimentary feature, not in isolation.
A cost-effective alternative to a bespoke hologram for smaller volumes if you require your own branding within the foil.
A series of fine line slits which are die-cut onto a pressure sensitive adhesive substrate that, once applied onto a surface, delaminates and/or destructs at first attempt to remove, thereby proving that the substrate has been tampered with.
A design technique protects the ‘infill’ of a document from fraudulent alterations and once it’s damaged, it is impossible to accurately reinstate.
